Tushar is recognized as one of the leading freelance documentary photographers in Bangladesh. As well as he is a Travel & Art photographer, writer, instructor, organizer, and judge of National & international photography competitions. Photography is his profession, passion, hobby, and his love & life. He is the only MFIAP, Master Photographer of FIAP in Bangladesh, the highest photographic distinction of the International Federation of Photographic Art. He has years of experience guiding photo tours & workshops. His wide & long-time experience in Travel photography, Organizing, teaching, and prestigious international award-winning made him one of the best photographers in Bangladesh. He has excellent knowledge about the perfect places to capture a photo of every location in Bangladesh. He loves to help with hands-on experience in a Creative learning environment while out in the field, and he absolutely loves leading photo tours! Since 2005 he has been working full-time as a professional photographer, and he has traveled to many countries as a travel photographer. His work has been featured in over 100 major publications, including The Times UK, The Telegraph, The Guardian, The Washington Post, Forbes magazine, BBC, National Geographic, Daily Mail, Sunday Post, Express UK, The Sun, The Atlantic, USA Today, Canada Open, Al Jazeera, News Yahoo, The Photo Traveler and renowned international photo agencies. His photographs were exhibited in different international photo exhibitions in Asia, Europe & USA. He has won more than a hundred National & International prestigious photographic awards, including HPA-UNESCO China, Emirates Photo Contest, Asahi Shimbun Japan, United Nations IYC Singapore, People & Planet Australia, PX3 Paris, CBRE Urban Photographer of the Year, Link Lady, SIENA International, A Photo Reporter, New York-Manhattan, celebrating Life Bangladesh and numerous FIAP & PSA patronage awards. He is the President & FIAP Liaison Officer of the Bangladesh Photographic Society. He founded the IMAGE Institute of Photography in Bangladesh in 2005. Numerous students from Bangladesh and around the world have been learning photography from his institute. He has been honored and appointed as a guest professor of Shandong Art & Design University from 2018-2021. In 2025, he was selected as one of the 100 international Photography Masters and invited by the Chinese cultural ministry to visit China, during the Opportunity China vitality Shandong international photo festival.

His Academic background: After he graduated from Dhaka University, he took a Diploma in photography from Begart Institute of Photography, a Photographic course on Photojournalism: Method and Techniques from the National Institute of Mass Communication is a state-owned educational institute that specializes in mass communication and journalism in Bangladesh, Diploma in Photojournalism from the Bangladesh Photojournalist Association. He has attended many workshops on different photographic subjects.

His Solo Exhibition:

  • His solo exhibition entitled JOURNEY BY TRAIN was held at the China Jinan International Photography Biennale on October 25-November 20, 2022, in the title of “Back View·Dialogue Exhibition of Contemporary Chinese and Foreign Photographers, organized by the College of Art and Design, Xi’an University of Technology, Shandong Institute of Arts and Crafts.
  • His Solo exhibition was held at the Jinan Museum as one of the Top Ten international photographers in Europe, America & Asia, organised by  Jinan International Photography Biennial 2018.
  • He has won an online Solo Exhibition entitled JOURNEY FOR LIVES by All About Photo.
  • His Exhibition entitled A Glimpse of Bangladesh was held from December 14-20, 2019 at the Gallery Aula Schulanlage Falter, Switzerland.
