In the Northern region, you will explore numerous bicycles full of pineapple and mangoes carried to the local market, The largest open mango market in Bangladesh where the entire market is filled with mangoes. In this expedition, you will also explore A slum home to Asia’s largest shipyard, thousands of drying fish, colorful moon-shaped boats and fishing activities in South Bay the world’s longest sea beach.

Let’s discover the world most unexplored land Bangladesh

Day 01: Arrival Dhaka, Bangladesh

A Image Tours representative will greet you at the airport then take you to the hotel for check-in. this afternoon Introduce with our Photo guide, Mr. Yousuf Tushar then followed by your first photoshoot at old Dhaka city, Peoples & their costume, rickshaws. Dhaka is the capital city of Bangladesh, World’s most population density city but peoples are the most friendly so it’s easier for you to capture people’s photos.
A special Welcome Dinner & Enjoy the slideshow presentation by Yousuf Tushar, interact with Tushar you will get more information and idea which will be helpful for your journey.
Photoshoot: Rikshaws (tri wheeler bicycle), Peoples, Traditional Costumes, Streets Photography.

Day 02: Asia’s largest shipyard

Drive to Old Dhaka riverside, the place looks like 200 years old riverside city. Thousands of people crossing the river by around 3000 local small boats. Asia’s largest shipyard where more than 15000 peoples are working on dismantling, repairing and creating new ships with the recovered parts.

Day 03: Pineapple City

Early morning drive to pineapple city. Discover pineapple harvesting and wholesale market of pineapples. Farmers taking pineapples to market by bicycle, long trail of many pineapples loaded bicycle.

Day 04: Mango City

Explore mango harvesting, numerous bicycles full of mangoes carried to the local market, The largest open mango market in Bangladesh where the entire market is filled with mangoes. Discover and the wholesale market of mangoes. Farmers taking mangoes to market by bicycle, long trail of many mangoes loaded bicycle.

Day 05: Traditional Fishing on River

Early morning we will visit the the biggest vegetables market in the Northern region. Next, Explore very interesting things traditional 4-boat fishing in the Jamuna river.

Day 06: Dhaka – Barisal: living in Boats:

In the morning drive to Barisal and on the way shoot on countryside village and people working on jute harvesting. After arriving Barisal shooting on life in boats: The Manta community people of Bangladesh have been living on boats for over 100 years. They spend all their lives – from birth to death – on boats. These people live the most unusual life. Shooting their lifestyle in boats until evening and enjoying the sunset on the river.

Day 07: Barisal Guava Floating Market

Barisal District is the most beautiful destination in the southern part of Bangladesh. It’s called ‘the Venice of Bengal’ for its beauty. There is another saying that, ‘Rice, Canals, and Rivers make Barisal’. Explore the biggest floating Guava market of Bangladesh at the best of the season of guava harvesting. It is a completely rural area, farmers harvesting guava at guava gardens and taking guavas to the floating market by their local small boats.
you will also enjoy the village market, local boat market and river cursing by local boat.

Day 08: Pottery Village

Pottery is a traditional handicraft family-oriented industry in Bangladesh. Munshigonj is one of the most significant pottery production areas in Bangladesh. More than 200 years old conventional pottery, more than 1000 families are engaged in this profession. The second session explores the old old Dhaka street.

Day 09: Batik Village & Rice Processing

Drive through to northeast districts, on the way you will explore the biggest tie-dying Batik village of Bangladesh. Here people make colors on fabrics in traditional processes and dry fabrics in the open sun, you will see them everywhere is color in the village. The second session explores rice factories, people working in rice factories, the lines of a rice paddy while the sun-dry process in the courtyard and children playing in the courtyard.

Day 10: Dhaka – South City

In the morning drive through to the South City. after arrive south city shooting on aluminum factories. People making aluminum pots by traditional process.

Day 11: South City – South Bay

Early morning visits the biggest sea fish port and wholesale fish market of Bangladesh. Fishermen unloading sea fishes from boats, repairing fishing nets and drying nets on the sun, making preparation to go deep sea. Drive through to the south bay, explore the world’s longest sea beach, seaside fishing activities and children playing at the sea beach until sunset.

Day 12: South Bay

The morning session explores the biggest betel nut market in Bangladesh. Hundreds of villagers carry betel nuts to the market, the whole market is full of betel nuts, people selling and storing nuts. The second session explores the world’s longest sea beach, colorful moon-shaped boats, fishing on the sea beach, fishermen making and repairing colorful fishing nets, dragging fishing boats & nets, and sunset on the beach.

Day 13: Fish Village – Dhaka

Early morning visits to the dry fish village, around 5000 families working on the sun-dry fish process, completely traditional process drying fish on the sun. After the morning session, we will come back to Dhaka by Flight. After arriving Dhaka explores the train track slums where people living beside train lines and their daily life activities.

Day 14: Chicken Market – Departure

Early Morning Explore the chicken market. After breakfast preparing to check out the hotel. According to your individual Flight departure time, we will drop you at the airport and bid a fond farewell. We hope your unforgettable memories call you again to this land and show up your Bangladesh’s great images.

Our photography expeditions are not only a simple photo trip it’s a photography workshop. Whether you are a beginner, keen amateur or professional photographer we want you to get the best possible pictures on every tour. Each of our participants will get the right infield guidance from understanding all camera settings, creating outstanding compositions, perfect exposer to the different light conditions, developing a personal style to finalizing ideas in image editing software.

We also put emphasis on Image Post-Processing which is extremely important nowadays. We will hold post-processing panels where we will teach you the workflows in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom and some additional plug-ins we use to make your pictures stand well apart from the rest. We will try to allow enough time for you to post-process your pictures while on the tour, and hopefully, you will go home with your prime shots ready for the showcase.
